They are quite remarkable, these Milwaukee Bucks

They showed most of the signs of the potential to be special last season when they had the NBA’s best record and their first 60-win season since 1980-81. Expectations were high in the playoffs, and the Bucks reached the Eastern Conference finals, where they fell in six games to the Toronto Raptors, who went on to become NBA champions.

The Bucks are at it again. At 21-3, they’re tied with the Los Angeles Lakers for the NBA’s best record. They’ve won 15 consecutive games. Want to see them go for No. 16? You can. ESPN will show the Bucks’ Wednesday night home game against the New Orleans Pelicans at 9:30 p.m. ET. At 6-18 (if only 6-18 were their height), the Pelicans are one of the league’s worst teams. They’ve lost nine in a row.

Milwaukee’s 15-game win streak is the NBA’s longest this season and the franchise’s best since 1970-71. The NBA record is 33, by the Lakers of 1971-72.

The heart of the Bucks is the NBA’s reigning MVP. Write this name down (we’ll wait): Giannis Antetokounmpo. He’s second in the league in scoring (30.9 points per game) and fifth in rebounding (13.2).

The streak is at 15. Let’s bet the Bucks don’t stop here.
