When Lava Reaches Water
The Hawaiian volcano has yet to let up and the lava is continuing to travel to the ocean. While the massive clouds rising from the ocean are quite mesmerizing, they are actually extremely dangerous. When the lava cools in the ocean, it created a cloud of volcanic glass and toxic gas that is extremely dangerous to the surrounding residents. People have been warned to stay far away from the clouds for they could move in any direction. Fortunately, most of the fumes have been blown out to sea rather than inland. Geologists still do not see an end in sight for the vicious volcano.
