A beautiful moment at the SAG Awards

Jennifer Aniston says it was “sweet” that her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, watched her accept a Screen Actors Guild Award on Sunday night for her role in The Morning Show. Pitt and Aniston divorced in 2005 after Pitt got involved with Angelina Jolie while filming Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Pitt and Jolie also divorced after more than a decade together. However, there seems to be no hard feelings between Aniston and Pitt.

“We’ve all grown up together, we really have,” she said, “and it just feels like a really fun night to celebrate and cheer each other on and keep working…There are not dark hours, but, you know, you don’t really have that much of a life, so it’s nice to come out and put a pretty dress on and sort of celebrate your friends and their work, and inspire each other to keep going — and like [Brad] said, it’s back to work tomorrow.”

While accepting his own award for his role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Brad Pitt joked about the similarities he shared with his character.

“Let’s be honest, it was a difficult part,” Pitt said. “The guy who gets high, takes his shirt off, and doesn’t get on with his wife. It’s a big stretch. Big.”

The camera panned to Aniston during Pitt’s acceptance speech, and Aniston laughed at Pitt’s sarcasm.
