Say Goodbye To The International House of Pancakes
In a strange tweet this morning, famous 24-hour breakfast hotspot iHop announced that it was going to change its name while celebrating its 60th year anniversary. The new name, iHob, flips the “p” upside down to a “b” just like one would flip a pancake.
But what’s even more interesting is that the company is not announcing what the “b” stands for. And they won’t be until June 11th. Their website even has a countdown to when they will reveal the confusing and mysterious change.
The Executive Director of Communications for the famous chain restaurant said in a statement “we’re serious about the quality of our food and our menu and this name change really reflects that.”
Some of the possibilities could be “breakfast” or “brunch,” but wouldn’t that be too obvious? There are endless possibilities, but we’ll definitely be looking forward to the announcement next Monday.
