When you give six New Yorkers a camera and tell them to document their lives, you know you are going to be in for a real treat. Forget reality TV this is real life. When you jump inside the lives of Jonathan, Susan, Nina, and Derek your going to see the behind the scenes of what they deal with on a daily basis.

From Jonathan being an aspiring writer to dealing with his successful girlfriend times can get a bit rough. He doesn’t like living in her shadow but in order to survive in the concrete jungle of NYC you have to do whatever it takes to survive, even if it means living in the shadow of his girlfriend.

If you think that’s rough, well then you haven’t met Derek. Originally from NJ living in his mom’s house, his aspiration is to become one of the best comedians in the game. From couch hopping to late nights in NYC on stage, Derek is doing whatever it takes to make it big hoping to win the crowd over with his jokes. Will he be on his way to performing nation wide or will he be stuck couch hoping with weekend performances?

While Derek is on his way up Nina is having a hard time of her own. Living with her husband in Brooklyn, the two have rising careers but getting pregnant is not one of their successes. Nina’s husband having a rare disorder, which can be corrected with surgery, can hopefully help them have the family they have always looked for. Although there is some tension in their relationship, don’t let that fool you their love is as passionate as ever.
