Jennifer Played Selena, Could Selena Play Jennifer?
Jennifer Lopez was not opposed to filmmakers making a movie about her life but she only had one request when asked.
Her request was that she would have one person and one person only play her, and that is Selena Gomez. She claims “Selena would be the only one who could pull it off.”
Many argue as to why she wouldn’t choose Ariana Grande, but she says that she is not changing her mind on this one.
It wasn’t too long ago when Lopez made her big break in film starring as the late Tejano singer in the 1997 biopic “Selena,” the singer whom Gomez was ironically named after. Coincidence? I think not! Could Selena be a perfect fit for the role of Jennifer Lopez? Well, just ask JLo.
