Tech entrepreneur and philanthropist brings awareness to climate change
Bill Gates is known as the founder of Microsoft but he also has a reputation for his philanthropic efforts to many great causes including fighting against the climate crisis. The Microsoft founder’s latest venture is his new book ‘How to Avoid a Climate Disaster: The Solutions We Have and the Breakthroughs We Need’ on changes that can be crucial in fighting against climate change.
To avoid a climate disaster, we need to eliminate emissions from the ways we create electricity, grow food, make things, move around, and heat and cool our buildings. It won’t be easy, but I believe we can do it. This book is about what it will take. https://t.co/xyzs0x6CwB

Bill Gate spent the last 10 years investigating the causes and effects of climate change within fields including finance, physics, political science, engineering, biology, and chemistry. Gates’ extensive investigation led to writing a book explaining what the human population must change the trajectory of climate change and what is needed to achieve net-zero emissions of greenhouse gases.
Gates’ new book addresses the challenges we face while targeting industries that need innovation and new ideas to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through business practices. ‘How to Avoid a Climate Crisis’ targets technology innovations where and how the current technology can function more efficiently to reduce energy waste.
