Tiffany “New York” Pollard and “Flavor Flav” Reunite in Halloween Surprise

Reality TV royalty met daytime TV fun this Halloween when Tiffany “New York” Pollard made a surprise appearance on The Tamron Hall Show — and yes, there were clocks, crowns, and plenty of chaos in true Flavor of Love fashion.

Flavor of Fright: Tamron Hall’s Epic Transformation

Tamron Hall, who went all out for her 2025 Halloween episode, transformed into the one and only Flavor Flav — complete with a sparkling crown, a sharp blue suit, and that signature oversized clock necklace. In the spirit of spooky fun, she hosted a “Flavor of Fright” cake-decorating challenge, where contestants raced to create their best Halloween-themed confections. But Tamron had one more trick (and treat!) up her sleeve — she brought out none other than New York herself to help judge the competition.

New York Steals the Spotlight

As soon as Tiffany “New York” Pollard strutted onto the stage, the studio erupted in cheers. Channeling her signature confidence, she greeted the crowd with her famous catchphrase, “New York is in the house!” The energy skyrocketed as Hall — still in full Flavor Flav mode — welcomed her guest and joked about “missing out on the greatest lady ever.”

Bye Pumkin: A Legendary Throwback

Together, the two recreated some of the electric chemistry that made Flavor of Love a pop culture phenomenon back in the 2000s. Pollard coached the contestants through the cake challenge with flair, sass, and plenty of encouragement — until it was time for an elimination. When one contestant was sent packing, New York seized her moment to relive TV history, shouting, “Bye Pumkin! Bye Pumkin!” — a nod to her unforgettable confrontation from the original VH1 series.

A Reality TV Legacy

The nostalgic moment reminded fans just how much impact Pollard and Flavor of Love had on the golden era of reality TV. Though the nickname “New York” wasn’t one she originally embraced — Pollard once admitted she “hated it” when Flavor Flav first gave it to her — it ultimately became the title that defined her career.

After finishing as runner-up on both seasons of Flavor of Love, Pollard went on to headline her own spinoff, I Love New York, solidifying her status as one of reality television’s most iconic personalities.

A Halloween Reunion to Remember

Now, nearly two decades later, seeing New York and “Flavor Flav” (or at least Tamron’s spot-on version) back together brought fans a wave of nostalgia — and plenty of laughs. It was a Halloween treat no one saw coming, proving that some reality TV legends never go out of style.

The Tamron Hall Show airs weekdays in syndication — and after this reunion, viewers will be begging for more throwback moments.
