Spider-Man Filming Underway For ‘Far From Home’

Filming is well underway for the upcoming Spider-Man film. The franchise will welcome back Tom Holland to play the star role after he was massively successful in his first outing as Spidey.

Also joining Holland for their second outing in the franchise is ‘Greatest Showman’ actress Zendaya, who will play the role of MJ and Marisa Tomei who will play the role of Aunt May. Jake Gyllenhaal, Cobie Smulders and Samuel L. Jackson have also joined the cast for the film that will be released in summer 2019.

It was recently announced by Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige that the newest Spider-Man film will take the superhero on an European adventure and out of his beloved New York, this is down to the global success of Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers 4.

British actor Holland, has already announced that a third film is already in the works, this will follow Peter Parker in his junior year at Midtown School of Science and Technology, after the events of 2018 blockbuster, Avengers: Infinity War.

There is a fresher feel to the latest reboot of Spider-Man with a new approach to his costume, the latest photos to emerge from the shoots show Holland sporting a fresh black suit. In a film which is likely to see Spidey have more costume changes than a Mariah Carey cocert, Holland was photographed wearing a new and improved red and blue costume for the New York shoots.

This element of the film has seen comic fans get excited with some questioning whether we will see the ‘Superior Spider-Man’ costume at some point. However, we will all have to wait and see until a new trailer is released, in hope that may give us a further glimpse into what we can expect.

One thing is for sure, it could be one of the best Spider-Man films released to date.
