This past week American Airlines made a huge change to their policy and customers are not so thrilled. Of course like most airlines they are trying to stay competitive and are doing what they have to do.

So what is all the hype about? Well, American Airlines is getting rid of a feature that let customers lock in airfare for 24 hours without having to put any money down. Instead, it will switch to the model most other airlines follow: Travelers will now have the ability to cancel a flight and receive a full refund as long as they cancel within 24 hours of booking.

But they aren’t really doing you a favor they are just doing what the federal law requires them to do. Hmmm, we can see why most customers aren’t happy. For more details be sure to check out the video above.
