Moana Returns to the Ocean in First ‘Moana 2’ Trailer

The ocean’s call is irresistible, even for the bravest of explorers. Disney has just released the highly anticipated first trailer for Moana 2, the theatrical sequel to the beloved 2016 animated film Moana. Initially developed as a series for Disney+, the project has evolved into a full-length feature film, set to hit theaters on November 27, 2024.

The trailer reveals Moana, now older and wiser, reuniting with the demigod Maui, voiced again by Dwayne Johnson. Auli’i Cravalho reprises her role as Moana. Together, they embark on a daring mission to reconnect her people across the vast ocean, encountering a myriad of oceanic creatures and formidable obstacles.

Set three years after the events of the original movie, Moana 2 promises to take audiences on an expansive new voyage.
