Kung Fu Panda 4 Set To Deliver Epic Adventure With Near-Record Runtime
DreamWorks Animation has unveiled the official runtime for its highly-anticipated animated sequel, Kung Fu Panda 4, set to hit theaters on March 8, 2024. The latest installment in the blockbuster franchise boasts a runtime of 94 minutes, nearly breaking the franchise record and only a minute shorter than its predecessor, Kung Fu Panda 3.
The movie’s international presence has also been showcased with the release of a captivating new poster. The artwork features the beloved Dragon Warrior, Po, portrayed by Jack Black, alongside both familiar and new characters, including the iconic Master Shifu and the formidable Tai Lung.
Directed by Mike Mitchell and Stephani Ma Stine, Kung Fu Panda 4 promises an exhilarating cinematic experience. Mitchell, known for his work on the Shrek franchise and other animated gems such as Trolls and The Lego Movie 2, collaborates with Stine to bring this latest adventure to life.
Jack Black returns as the voice behind Dragon Warrior Po, reprising his role after recently captivating audiences in Netflix’s Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight series. The star-studded cast includes Dustin Hoffman as Master Shifu, Bryan Cranston as Li Shan, James Hong as Mr. Ping, and Ian McShane as the formidable Tai Lung.
Adding new dimensions to the film, Kung Fu Panda 4 introduces outstanding talents such as Viola Davis as the evil shape-shifting witch, The Chameleon, Ke Huy Quan as the leader of den thieves Han, and Golden Globe winner Awkwafina as the charismatic fox named Zhen.

The official synopsis teases an intriguing storyline: “After three death-defying adventures defeating world-class villains with his unmatched courage and mad martial arts skills, the Dragon Warrior is called upon by destiny to give it a rest already.
