CNN Anchor Slams “Smelly” Donald Trump After “Whiny” President’s Latest Rant
Donald Trump is facing a fresh wave of ridicule, this time from former Republican congressman and current CNN political commentator Adam Kinzinger. In a string of blistering remarks on CNN and The Bulwark podcast, Kinzinger tore into Trump personally, mocking his behavior, his insecurities, and even his smell.
The Spark: Trump’s “Enemies List”
The clash erupted after Trump threatened to expand his so-called “enemies list,” publicly encouraging Attorney General Pam Bondi to go after political critics. Trump has long framed retribution as “success,” but his calls for lawsuits and prosecutions against former officials, including recently indicted ex-FBI Director James Comey, have fueled accusations of abuse of power.
Kinzinger, who served on the January 6 committee, is reportedly among those Trump views as adversaries. Asked if he was worried about retaliation, Kinzinger told Anderson Cooper 360: “I wasn’t worried about Trump targeting me after the indictment of former FBI Director James Comey.”
Kinzinger’s Mockery
Kinzinger didn’t stop there. On The Bulwark podcast, he escalated into a no-holds-barred rant that cut straight to Trump’s image and ego.
- On Trump’s smell: “The smell thing has done more to get into his head than anything else! … He’s got, I mean he has to, right? That’s the only way to cover it up… Eau de A* or whatever.”
- On Trump’s hands: “The fact that he has small hands.”
- On Trump’s personality: “This whiny Snowflakey b*tch has to run around and he gets offended all the time… He’s like psychologically, he’s a six-year-old boy who’s still trying to win his father’s approval.”
Kinzinger also blasted the Republican Party for embracing Trump’s constant litigation strategy: “When South Park says all he does is sue people, and I remind people that the Republican Party used to be against frivolous lawsuits? Now we embrace it because this whiny Snowflakey b*tch…”
While the insults were sharp, Kinzinger argued that humor and mockery can deflate Trump’s power: “This is what I struggle with is like I want people to beware of the danger because I think it’s very real.”
Reactions and Fallout
The remarks spread quickly across social media, with hashtags like #SmellyDonniePedo trending on X. Critics cheered Kinzinger’s bluntness, while Trump supporters dismissed the attacks as classic CNN bias. One X user snapped: “Liar untrusting CNN, always fabricating.”
Other CNN voices piled on, with Kaitlan Collins calling Trump a “liar” in separate coverage. Meanwhile, satirical references resurfaced, including a South Park episode mocking Trump with absurd imagery, echoed by Kinzinger as proof of Trump’s thin skin.
So far, Trump himself has not publicly responded to the “smelly” jabs. But Kinzinger made clear his goal was to provoke, attacking Trump at his most sensitive points, his image and pride.
Why It Matters
The feud highlights just how personal the political fight around Trump has become. For critics, mocking Trump is both strategy and catharsis. For supporters, it is evidence of media bias and disrespect. Either way, the clash underscores how Trump’s mix of bravado and vulnerability continues to dominate political conversation, dividing Republicans and electrifying opponents.
