The Warriors Look Unstoppable
The Golden State Warriors took a 2-0 lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the best-of-seven NBA Finals on Sunday night, beating the Cavs 122-103. The series now shifts to Cleveland for Game 3 on Wednesday night.
The Warriors shot 57.3 percent from the field in Game 2 and Stephen Curry hit a Finals-record nine 3-point shots (the same number as the Cavaliers). LeBron James scored 29 for Cleveland and has 80 points in two losses.
NHL: The Washington Capitals lead the Vegas Golden Knights 2-1 in the Stanley Cup final. Game 4 is Monday night in D.C. The Caps’ 3-1 win on Saturday night was their first home victory in the Stanley Cup final in franchise history.
MLB: St. Louis’ Michael Wacha lost a no-hit bid in the top of the ninth Sunday when he allowed a lead-off single to pinch-hitter Colin Moran. The Cardinals beat the Pittsburgh Pirates 5-0.

The Atlanta Braves took three of four games from the Washington Nationals when Charlie Culberson hit a pinch-hit walk-off homer for a 4-2 victory.
The Seattle Mariners beat the Tampa Bay Rays 2-1 for a sweep and picked up their 13th win in 16 games, which moved them into first place in the American League West.
Eddie Rosario’s third homer of the game gave the Minnesota Twins a 7-5 walk-off win over the Cleveland Indians.
ELSEWHERE: Bryson DeChambeau won a three-way playoff at the Memorial with a birdie putt to beat Byeong Hun An to win for the second time on the PGA Tour.
Ryan Hunter-Reay won his first IndyCar race since 2015, picking up a victory in Detroit (Belle Isle).
Martin Truex Jr. reinserted himself into NASCAR’s championship picture by pulling away on a restart with seven laps left to win the at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pa. This season has been dominated by Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch but Truex is the defending champion.
