Anything To Win Over Voters

A rapping radio advertisement by Republican presidential hopeful Ben Carson was aired this past Friday. Yes, we are just as shocked as you are.

Entitled “Freedom”, the $150,000 radio ad buy uses lyrics from rapper Aspiring Mogul spliced with parts of Carson’s stump speech. The nearly 60-second ad is specifically targeting young black voters, and will air for two weeks in Miami, Atlanta, Houston and other Southern locations.

Carson’s campaign reportedly released the ad to appeal to the urban market, and inspire young black voters. For more details and to hear the well interesting ad, be sure to check out the video above.
