Broadway Debut of a Country Star

Country super Jennifer Nettles of the band ‘Sugarland’ is headed to the ole Broadway! Yes, the powerhouse vocalist will be lending her talent to the show ‘Chicago’ as none other than Roxie Hart.

She has spent weeks now learning choreography and lyrics to the classic musical in hopes of really wowing audiences when they see the show.

She is well aware that people will have preconceived notions of who she is as a performer when they come see the play, but hopes that people can leave that at the door and really appreciate the character of Roxie Hart and not country star Jennifer Nettles playing Roxie Hart.

No doubt about it that Jennifer is going to bring one heck of a voice to her character. She is known for being able to really belt out some powerful notes that I’m sure will have audiences cheering.
