We’ve all been there, when we were about to send that important email before our phone dies, but it just happens to turn off before it hits 0%. Well, have you ever wondered why your battery dies before it makes it’s way to 0?

If you have the short answer is that your phone is doing you a favor. The long answer is that your phone is doing a lot of things all day like looking for cell towers, checking for emails, pushing alerts from all your favorite apps that your probably not even aware of! If you have ever had to do a forced reboot on your phone it’s probably because there is too much loading that your phone stops dead in its tracks because it forgot what it was initially doing.

When your phone forgets a task it really just means that the data wasn’t saved. So, when your working on an important email and your phone is at 5% battery life or even greater and shuts down, just remember your phone is doing you a favor and when you restart all your important information you were working on will be saved.
