Space Tourism
Space travel has been around for a long time now and it’s safe to say that we’ve come a long way since the start of manned spaceflights 55 years ago. Yes, believe it or not it has been that long ago meaning there has to be something new to come of space travel. And with that being said, space tourism could take off in just two years!
Blue Origin, owned by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, just announced that they might send tourists to space by the year 2018. The future is about to become a reality as human test flights could start as early as 2017.
Could you imagine your captain saying, “ladies and gentlemen prepare for takeoff. Your final destination will be space.” At this time the capsule will only be able to hold 6 tourists, but they will experience weightlessness for four minutes and see a view previously reserved for a select few. So, would you take a trip to space? We want to know!
