Hawk Patrol
Before the day’s matches start at the world famous Wimbledon, Rufus the star hawk is dispatched by his trainers to patrol the skies over the courts.
He does this in order to chase away any pigeons that may be flying around wanting to get a piece of the match as well.
The pigeons know Rufus as a predator, which makes them stay far far away. It is important, as no one wants pigeons flying into the courts during those crucial moments that may disrupt the matches. Rufus is not native to the country but sure gets the job done!
