North Korea Meets The U.S. In Singapore
President Donald Trump finally meets with North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore earlier this morning in Singapore, discussing denuclearization. Trump says that there is need for a second meeting before finalizing denuclearization with North Korea, while having some odd measures for the summit.
Kim Brought His Own Toilet
Reports claim that Kim brought his own toilet to the meeting to avoid others from trying to steal his waste. The North Korean leader wanted to assure that the “portable toilet that will deny determined sewer divers insights into the supreme leaders stools.”
Kim also assured this security measure for his last meeting with South Korean leader, Moon Jae-in. Other security measures included having his fingerprints wiped from the surfaces he touched, along with providing his own stationary to avoid having others collect samples.
Discussing Kim Coming To America
In a press conference before the summit Trump was asked if he would invite Kim to the U.S. if the meeting proved successful. One of the biggest questions of Kim coming to the U.S. is where they will meet, The White House or Mar-a-Lago.
After the meeting Trump said that he will invite Kim to the White house after the Singapore meeting, also reassuring that denuclearization will happen “very quickly” and that he has a “very special bond” with Kim.
Trump Showed A Fake Movie Trailer For Kim
The White House created a trailer for a ‘Destiny Picture Production’ that is a subliminal message that the world would be better once Trump and Kim unite. The trailer flashed stock images of the world juxtaposed with images of Trump and Kim.
The trailer also shows images from the Korean war, contributing to strict political state of North Korea. The video focuses on evolution through innovation and the few people making a difference in this world, featuring Trump and Kim. The rest of the fake movie trailer focuses on the unity of North and South Korea to create harmony with the rest of the world.
The Summit Was Not In North Korean News
North Korea’s media still is holding tight on control of access to information on international affairs and not covering the summit in the news. There are also problems that need to be address in this summit including famine and terrible prison conditions, including wrongful imprisonment for many.
Trump also agreed that he would stop military exercises with their ally South Korea, as a symbolic gesture to wanting to seize military fire. The future hope of more summits also gives hope for unity in Korea and for more on this summit check out the videos above.
