President Biden plans on having Independence Day for COVID-19
President Joe Biden is planning on celebrating Independence Day from coronavirus with his new plan to make the COVID-19 vaccine available to all by May 1. The elaborate plan was revealed by President Biden in his first prime-time address from the White House on Thursday night marking the one-year anniversary of the pandemic.

President Biden plans on celebrate the first Independence Day in-office with the biggest COVID-19 vaccination program for everyone starting May 1 with the goal of all adult citizens being vaccinated by July 4. During Biden’s address, he announced his plan will make it easier for large groups to celebrate together but advises Americans to continue wearing masks, social distancing, and get vaccinated when possible.
The Biden administration will be directing states, territories, and tribes to make all American adults eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as well as expanding for more vaccination centers. The White House will participate in efforts to make shots available at federally run mass vaccination centers and more pharmacies.

The Biden administration will also be working towards broadening the pool of those qualified to administer shots including medical students, dentists, paramedics, veterinarians, and more. President Biden also signed a bill to direct funding for businesses, schools, and vaccine distribution.
The success of this bill is a pivotal point for the Biden administration as they face the challenges of the global pandemic on American life with more than 26 million cases in the US. The White House also revealed President Biden’s upcoming travel schedule with Vice President Kamala Harris, the First Lady, and Second Gentleman for the “Help Is Here” promotion tour for the COVID-19 relief package.
