He Got the Message!
On the day after Republicans swept the midterm elections, President Obama says he got the message loud and clear. “To everyone who voted, I want you to know that I hear you.”
When the new Congress convenes in January, Republicans will have control of both houses which is going to be a new change.
As a lot of people are more than ready for this change, Obama says he thinks he can have a productive relationship with new Senate leader Mitch McConnell. Saying “He has always been very straightforward with me. To his credit, he has never made a promise that he couldn’t deliver.”
