Mark Zuckerberg Begins His Apology Tour
While Zuckerberg has already had a trial in front of U.S. lawmakers, Europeans have pushed to have their own hearing. 2.7 million people on the continent were impacted by Zuckerberg’s poor decisions. The public is quite angry and have a substantial amount of questions for Zuckerberg. They want to know why the company did what they did, how he allowed it to happen, and when was the company was aware it was going on. All of this is going on at an interesting time for Europe. New regulation is coming into play regarding data privacy and consumer protection laws. Companies will be forced to comply with the new set of laws. Lawmakers will also ask Zuckerberg is he is compliant with the new laws that are being put in place. Hopefully Zuckerberg is able to clarify some of his mishaps for the European community.
