The new “All I Want For Christmas” 2019 reboot

Mariah Carey’s iconic Christmas tune “All I Want For Christmas Is You” Turns 25 in 2019. To celebrate, the veteran music star released a new video for the song. The video is a star-studded affair, featuring home videos of people like Ryan Reynolds, Tyler Perry, and the Kardashians singing along to the song.

On Twitter, Mariah thanked her celebrity fans for submitting their videos.

“WOW! This is one of the best Christmas gifts I could ever have gotten. I am so thankful to all of my friends and favorite artists who participated in this video,” Mariah wrote. “You brought a huge smile to my face. THANK YOU!”

The video also features Carey’s twin children, Morrocan and Monroe, dancing to their mom’s hit song.

This month, “All I Want For Christmas is You” reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time in its 25-year existence.

“@MariahCarey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” is officially No. 1 on the #Hot100 for a second consecutive week,” the Billboard Chart’s official Twitter account tweeted on December 23rd. “It also breaks its own record for the biggest streaming week for a holiday song, tallying 54.4 million U.S. streams.”

According to Billboard, Carey’s song is only the second Christmas song in history to reach the top spot.
