Guinness World Record Set By Rodrigo Koxa
Brazilian surfer Rodrigo Koxa has officially broken the record for the biggest wave ever surfed and has been recognized as a Guinness World Record. The wave was surfed in Nazare beach Portugal and was 80 feet high. He was also awarded the QuickSilver XXL and the biggest wave award at the Big Wave Award ceremony.
Roxa recalls the day as the, “… best day of my life.” The video of the surfer taking on the monstrous wave has gone viral and he is still basking in his glory. He stole the record from Garret McNamara who earlier surfed a 78 foot wave.
Roxa isn’t stopping anytime soon. He is hoping that he can beat his own record soon in the future. But watch out, Roxa! There are a lot of other surfers that are looking to break that same record.
