“Florida Man” strikes again!
This time, a real-life version of the infamous Internet joke crashed a wedding in St. Pete Beach, Florida, where he interrupted the bride and groom’s first dance.
“He basically came in and was just at the bar trying to get drinks when he was dancing with the bridesmaids and the groom’s mother,” a wedding guest, Jan Vanpolen, told an NBC affiliate in Florida. “The best man and one of the groomsmen, they basically figured out he wasn’t supposed to be there and they had him removed…The bride thought it was hilarious. The groom did not. Neither did any of the groomsmen.”
The wedding crasher’s name is Mark Saunderson, and he’s 37 years old. Saunderson ended up getting arrested after wedding reception guests called the cops. Saunderson is now charged with disorderly conduct.
He reportedly tried to evade police by taking an elevator to the eleventh floor of the hotel where the reception was taking place and gave cops a fake address and phone number.
Deputies noted that Saunderson “looked drunk” when he was apprehended, and had bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. He spent the weekend in a Florida jail before he was finally bailed out around 1 A.M. on Tuesday morning.
