Jay Z was viciously assaulted by Beyonce’s sister, Solange, who was wildly kicking and swinging at him inside an elevator. The attack was captured on surveillance video.

The trio exit the elevator looking less than thrilled post-scuffle.

Things seemed to be going well earlier in the evening when Jay Z faux proposed to Beyoncé on the red carpet at the Met Gala.

A New York hotel is investigating how a recording of a security video apparently showing Jay Z being attacked by Solange leaked online. And naturally as you would expect, Twitter was taken by storm with the hashtag #WhatJayZSaidToSolange.
