Top European court has ruled that people have aright to be “forgotten” online. And since the ruling, Google has received almost 350,000 requests.
But what was interesting was that French citizens submitted the most requests to be forgotten. That’s right, and the European court also recognized their ruling opened the door for users to remove inaccurate information about them on Google.
Common causes for delisting pages were criminal convictions or charges that were overturned in court. For more details be sure to check out the video above.
