Google Acquires Robotmaker Boston Dynamics

 
Google has bought the engineering company that developed the world’s fastest-running robot, capable of running at speeds of up to 16 miles per hour, and other animalistic mobile research machines.

Google acquired Boston Dynamics, makers of robots like BigDog and WildCat, for an undisclosed sum.

Google’s most recently acquisition has tongues wagging as to why Boston Dynamics was bought and what the potential benefits for the tech giant could be.
