Award winning actor Ben Affleck gained a lot of media attention this past week. Have you heard? Reports reveal that Affleck tried to stop a television show from revealing some of his family’s history. Why you ask?

Well, sources say it’s because his ancestors owned slaves … Ok you can pick up your jaw now.

Affleck says it was just because he didn’t want to shake up any hard feelings and bring up something that has nothing to do with him. With all his media attention he thought that it would negatively affect his image and he would even lose some of his greatest fans.
