Apple Pay To Expand
Apple pay seems to be a big hit in the United States, Canada, UK, and Australia, so they have decided to take the next step and expand. One of Apple’s partner banks revealed on Chinese social media that Apple Pay will launch in China on Thursday, February 18.
A chatbot for the China Guangfa Bank disclosed the date on an official account on WeChat. Apple announced in December that its electronic payment system would come to China in “early 2016,” and the country’s Apple website lists 19 banks as partners.
China will now become the fifth country to receive Apple Pay, after the United States, Canada, the UK and Australia. For more details be sure to check out the video above.
