The MLB All-Star Game is moving from the previous hosting city of Atlanta in response to the passing of the S.B. 202 law criticized by President Joe Biden citing the possible restriction of voting access for Georgia residents.
Denver Mayor Michael Hancock and Colorado Governor Jared Polis combined their efforts to provide facilities with services to support the All-Star Game with short notice. The MLB disclosed they chose the new Denver venue because the city already started the process of securing the resources needed to host a massive sporting event with short notice.
