The Future Of Technology
Technology has come a long way in the past decade. So far that researchers have programmed small drones to build a bridge. The structure involves knots, links, and braids and spans 7.4m (24.3ft).
It took the researchers about three years to develop the algorithms involved. With the bridge it ensures researcher that small flying machines are actually able to assemble structures that can for example support a crossing of one person so one can imagine search and rescue scenarios or others like this.
To be used outside the lab the drones would need cameras and more complex code but hey it’s a great start!
