Swifties Are Beefing With Kamala Harris

Taylor Swift is in a big-time feud with music mogul Scooter Braun after he purchased the rights to her music catalog without her consent. Now, Democratic presidential hopeful Kamala Harris might be on the outs with Taylor, too. Braun recently hosted a star-studded fundraiser at his home in Brentwood, outside Los Angeles, for Harris. The news caused a massive backlash from Team Taylor.

“I was SO excited for you as a democratic candidate, but if you so choose to go to an event held by @scooterbraun, a man whose arrogance mirrors our president’s, I can no longer hold onto my excitement and faith for you as a presidential candidate,” tweeted an account using the handle @longlivesnakeT.

Katy Perry, Demi Lovato, and Ariana Grande attended the fundraiser. Katy Perry recently spoke to the media about ending her own feud with Swift after six years. Now, it looks like the fight is on again.

“AND THE SELLOUT AWARD GOES TOO….Kamala Harris! For having Scooter Braun throw her a party with Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, and Demi Lovato just to make people like her. It worked for Hillary!” Twitter user Benjamin D. Goldman wrote.

Braun, whom Swift has described as a “bully,” now owns the rights to the music from her first six albums. Swift says she was not given an opportunity to buy her own music, but Braun said he is open to “talking” to Swift about making a deal.

In the meantime, it appears Harris has made a big mistake in ticking off Taylor’s loyal fans.
