Trump Makes Another Outrageous Claims

At a campaign rally in Montoursville, Pennsylvania on Monday night, Trump jokingly suggested he could “serve five terms” due to his popularity with voters.

“Now we’re going to have a second time,” Trump said of his re-election bid in 2020. “And then we’ll drive them crazy. Ready? And maybe if we really like it a lot and if things keep going like they’re going, we’ll go and we’ll do what we have to do. We’ll do a three and a four and a five.”

At the rally, Trump also conducted an informal poll, asking the audience whether he should keep his 2016 slogan, “Make America Great Again,” or update it to “Keep America Great.” The audience seemed to prefer the new slogan by a wide margin.

Trump also took shots at the “fake news media,” noting how many journalists were covering the rally. The audience booed when Trump brought attention to the media’s presence. While discussing the wall he’s building along the Southern border, Trump brought a man in a suit with a brick-wall design onto the stage. The audience cheered.

Thousands of people attended the rally in Montoursville the night before the Pennsylvania primary. On Tuesday, Pennsylvania voters will vote in Democratic and Republican primaries to choose their parties’ candidates for state judgeships, as well as county, municipal and school board offices.
