The Legacy Jeter Leaves Behind
Calling all New York Yankee fans, Derek Jeter fans, and well anyone who knows what good talent is. In just a few days New York Yankee Derek Jeter will wear his number 2 for the last game.
This man needs no introduction because if you don’t know him by now well then I’m sure you have been living under a rock. As this legend sets to hang up his cleats the Yankees will be taking a loss of a lifetime.
Although there have been so many tributes that have gone on throughout the season many people are still wondering how much the Yankees will be loosing as it will be a big hole to fill. With 3,461 career hits, 5 time World Series champion, 1996 American League Rookie of the Year, 2000 All-Star MVP & World Series MVP, and even the only player to get 200 hits in the postseason alone.
With this guy ready to retire this coming weekend the Yankees will be remembering a legend and one of the best players in MLB history.
