Zayn Malik has officially reached out to a former One Direction bandmate for the first time since he quit the group. Yes, we’re just as excited as you are!

Malik admitted he and Liam Payne have laid their differences aside and are hoping to collaborate in the near future. The two are planning to sit down together in the near future aside from the band and start to make music of their own.
