Holland will remain on for at least several more films.
In the early hours today, ticket sales launched for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Spider-Man: No Way Home, once again starring Tom Holland as the titular superhero. Demand for this film is massive as expected, with several ticketing websites crashing due to the number of people seeking to buy tickets the moment they became available at midnight. However, while anticipation is high, some have been concerned due to rumors that this may be the last Spider-Man film to feature Tom Holland.

In an interview with Fandango, Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal sought to put those fears to rest. “This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie,” she explained. “We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel, it just isn’t part of… we’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”

Sony is currently building its own stable of Spider-Man adjacent film properties, including Venom and Morbius, which is why many have wondered whether there will be any crossover between those films and the main Marvel Cinematic Universe. Pascal explained that Marvel and Sony will be maintaining their current partnership, but when asked if Tom Holland could appear as Spider-Man in a non-MCU movie, she said “We all want to keep making movies together. How’s that for an answer?”
