Usain Bolt may be one of the fastest humans in the world but there is something that will be giving Usain Bolt a run for his money.
A Velociraptor Robot which happens to be the fastest robot on Earth. Natsot (Running) Modelled on the fast running predator of more than 70 million years ago, the robot’s hooked, carbon-composite legs are controlled by individual monitors.
If you are wondering how the robot achieves its balance while running at this fast pace it’s simple.
The balance is provided by a long tail-like appendage and, while it has to remain tethered to a supporting arm, Park Jong-won from South Korea’s KAIST Institute, says his robot is quicker than the fastest man on earth. Who knows maybe they will have a race and test out the new model.
