Contacts nowadays can do so many incredible things, like change your eye color. However, contact lenses of the future could be used to browse the web and even monitor your health.
That’s right; a team from the Future Industries Institute of the University of South Australia have released a study detailing the use of hydrophilic organic electrodes (water-compatible conductors) on flexible hydrogels (contact lenses).
The uses could include a sensor for measuring glucose levels or creating electronic displays right on the lenses. For more details be sure to check out the video above!
