Apple Sets New First Day Sales Record
If you were wondering why some shipments of the new iPhones are now delayed for weeks if not months, here’s your answer.
Apple announced Monday that they sold a record breaking four million new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices during the first 24 hours of the pre-orders hitting online.
As the company explained in its release, pre order demand topped the initial available supply, which will push the orders back longer than expected.
So if you are looking to invest in the new iPhone and you want to be one of the first people to have one, then you better place your orders in now because this could even delay the release date of in store sales.
