‘Stranger Things’ will return for several more seasons

Netflix’s popular paranormal series, “Stranger Things,” will be coming back for a fourth season, and fans are overjoyed. The critically acclaimed series follows a group of kids in small-town Indiana who look into mysteries involving a local lab.

Ted Sarandos, Netflix’s Chief Content Creator, said the Duffer Brothers, the duo behind “Stranger Things,” has signed a multi-season contract to keep the show going several more seasons.

“The Duffer Brothers have captivated viewers around the world with Stranger Things and we’re thrilled to expand our relationship with them to bring their vivid imaginations to other film and series projects our members will love,” Sarandos said. “We can’t wait to see what the Duffer Brothers have in store when they step outside the world of The Upside Down.”

But the cast has been evasive about the details of Season 4. One of the stars, Gaten Matarazzo, told Como UK he didn’t even know there was another season until Netflix announced it. He said he knows nothing about the plot.

“We don’t even know if there’s going to be a season 4,” Matarazzo said. “Nothing’s ever really confirmed, nothing’s for sure just yet. We don’t know anything about that–that’s on lockdown. It’s too close… I think it’s too early to call. We know pretty much as much as the fans do right now, which I kind of like.”
