Trump tries keeping it cool during Muller Report
Donald Trump announced at a press conference on Thursday that he was “having a good day” following the release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s report.
The Trump administration views the report, which was released Thursday after two years of intelligence-gathering, as a victory. Later on Thursday, Trump appeared at an event with a group of veterans, where he announced there was “no collusion, no obstruction.” The crowd responded with cheers.
“This should never happen to another president again, this hoax, this should never happen to another president again,” Trump said.
President Trump took to Twitter again to address the Mueller report, calling it “crazy.”
“Anything the Russians did concerning the 2016 Election was done while Obama was President. He was told about it and did nothing! Most importantly, the vote was not affected,” Trump tweeted.
“Statements are made about me by certain people in the Crazy Mueller Report, in itself written by 18 Angry Democrat Trump Haters, which are fabricated & totally untrue. Watch out for people that take so-called ‘notes,’ when the notes never existed until needed,” Trump tweeted. “Because I never agreed to testify, it was not necessary for me to respond to statements made in the ‘Report’ about me, some of which are total bullshit & only given to make the other person look good (or me to look bad). This was an Illegally Started Hoax that never should have happened!”
Trump also taunted his critics with a “Game of Thrones” meme, which stated it was “game over” for “haters.”
