The Most ‘Gramable Food Trend Is Here & It’s The Most Magical Thing I’ve Ever Seen!

Glitter has been in the best parts of our lives including arts and crafts, clothing, and best of all makeup. But now, the glitter gods have heard our prayer and glitter is taking over the foodie-vers. Edible glitter is not exactly new but has been building up on its popularity as more turn to the Internet to showcase their creations. The Edible glitter trend has been popping up on wedding cakes and inside shimmery glasses of Prosecco.

As the trend has been picking up the pace, it’s made several appearances in some other foods and beverages. Edible glitter has now been showing up in Lattes, bagels, pizza and even more surprisingly, beer. Paired with an alcoholic beverage, the glitter turns the drink into an edible lava lamp. The brewery that gave birth to this Instagram worthy drink, Sasquatch Brewing, called the beer, ‘Gold Dust Woman’ and explained that the glitter, “gives [the beer] this really cool…lava lamp galaxy effect in the glass. You can see all of these glitter swirls. All of it coming together in the glass is pretty magical.” The Gold Dust Woman beer was unsurprisingly sold out in less than a week.
