While promoting “The Bachelorette,” host Chris Harrison sits with Access Hollywood’s Alex Hudgens and talks about what viewers can expect to see this season. Plus, what will the guys’ dynamics be like? When asked what will make this season different, besides the new bachelorette Rachel, Chris says that every single season is dynamically different from the previous one because each person brings their own baggage, history and issues.

Rachel, the bachelorette, plus 31 guys each have their own personalities. Additionally, each bachelorette needs to be treated differently by the host than the previous one because they are a different person. Chris describes Rachel as incredibly professional, accomplished and smart. However, she is also very controlling, and being on “The Bachelorette” forces you to let go and open up. Relinquishing control and trusting the system is harder for some people than others. The show tends to take on the dynamic of whomever the star is. Understandably, there tends to be some fighting amongst the guys, who are vying for the bachelorette’s attention.

Lee, one of the bachelors, Chris described as a “southern gentleman”, has a knack for using his words to rub people the wrong way. Chris describes how he and one other of the bachelors in particular really get on each other’s nerves. Who knows? The guys to fight could create the next big bromance. “The Bachelorette” season 13 premieres May 22 at 9/8c on ABC.
