Leaked box art has given us a glimpse of who will be in the game.

When it was first announced back in July, fighting video game Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl generated a surprising amount of positive buzz. In spite of being a game featuring licensed cartoon characters, which are often middling at best, the revealed footage showed a well-assembled party fighting game, as well as features that even Super Smash Bros. lacks such as rollback netcode. As is often the case with ensemble fighting games, interest quickly turned to which classic Nickelodeon character would make the game’s roster.

While a large portion of the roster has already been revealed in trailers, there were still several slots that could only be speculated on thanks to the silhouetted box art. However, as Twitter users quickly noticed, the full, un-silhouetted box art has leaked ahead of time on the Nintendo eShop, revealing the (assumed) remainder of the cast. Thanks to this leak, the currently known roster is as follows:

  • Oblina (Aaahh!!! Real Monsters)
  • CatDog (CatDog)
  • Danny Phantom (Danny Phantom)
  • Helga Pataki (Hey Arnold!)
  • Zim (Invader Zim)
  • Lincoln Loud (The Loud House)
  • Lucy Loud (The Loud House)
  • Reptar (Rugrats)
  • SpongeBob SquarePants (SpongeBob SquarePants)
  • Patrick Star (SpongeBob SquarePants)
  • Sandy Cheeks (SpongeBob SquarePants)
  • Leonardo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
  • Michelangelo (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
  • April O’Neil (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles)
  • Nigel Thornberry (The Wild Thornberrys)
  • Ren (The Ren & Stimpy Show)
  • Stimpy (The Ren & Stimpy Show)
  • Powdered Toast Man (The Ren & Stimpy Show)
  • Aang (Avatar: The Last Airbender)
  • Korra (The Legend of Korra)

The developers have not commented on the leak as of writing. We’ll find out if it’s the real deal when Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl releases later this year.
