Prince Harry takes new career path with BetterUp Inc.
Prince Harry is adjusting to living life outside Buckingham Palace and taking a step back from being an active member of the royal family. Prince Harry is adjusting to civilian life with his new role of chief impact officer with the mental health startup BetterUp.
Prince Harry initially learned about BetterUp being a client for the last couple of months and working closely with a coach paired up with him based on his personal needs. Prince Harry discloses he matched with his coach who has always given him valuable, sound advice and a fresh perspective.

BetterUp CEO, Alexi Robichaux, was introduced to Harry last year and developed a personal relationship that turned business offering Harry a role with the company’s leadership team as “officer of the corporation.” Harry will be working in BetterUp’s San Francisco headquarters in the future appearing at the special company events and participating in meetings.
Harry’s new role of chief impact officer with input into initiatives including product strategy decisions and charitable contributions as well as publicly advocate topics relating to mental health. Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have become public figures advocating mental health with their recent interview with Oprah Winfrey recounting their mental health status being members of the royal family.

BetterUp Inc. was founded as a startup in 2013 provides users a network of more than 2,000 coaches with the company valued at $1.73 billion. Harry acknowledges the reasons people don’t seek out help such as stigma, societal barriers, and financial difficulty that detracts patients from focusing on their mental health until they’re forced to.
