Trump Accueses Muller Of Treason

After Robert Mueller testified before two Congressional committees on Wednesday, President Trump called Mueller’s actions “treasonous” on the Sean Hannity Show on Fox News.

“I didn’t do it. They create a phony crime,” Trump told Sean Hannity. “And then, they say, ‘he obstructed.’ They said there was no collusion but ‘he obstructed,’ and there has never been anything like this ever in this country…This should never happen to another president of the United States again. This is an absolute catastrophe for our country. This was a fake witch hunt.”

Mueller has consistently stated that his work as a special prosecutor is done and that his report “speaks to itself.” He told Congress, “We did not reach a determination as to whether the President committed a crime.” Mueller said it is now up to Democrats in Congress to decide what to do with the information in the report. Many Democrats are pushing other members of their party to start impeachment proceedings against Trump.

Trump told Hannity that Democrats are desperate to impeach him because they’re afraid of losing the 2020 election.

“Their party is in shambles right now… The Democrats had nothing, and now they have less than nothing,” Trump told Hannity.
