New season of “The Bachelor” is finished with filming

Peter Weber, the latest star of ABC’s long-running series “The Bachelor,” just returned home from filming his season. He hasn’t revealed whether he’s found love, but Weber is calling his season of “The Bachelor” the “most insane journey ever.”

“Just got back from two months of the most insane journey ever…Told my boy everything and he can’t believe it!” Weber, a 28-year-old pilot, wrote on Instagram along with a photo of himself with his dog.

Weber appeared on Hannah Brown’s season of “The Bachelorette.” He made it to the final three, but Brown eliminated him in favor of runner-up Tyler Cameron and winner Jed Wyatt. After the show wrapped, Brown and Wyatt split when rumors surfaced he’d had a girlfriend the whole time.

Brown called Weber’s elimination from her season “really hard,” and the two have remained friends.

Few details about Weber’s season of “The Bachelor” have been released, although the show’s host, Chris Harrison, revealed that Weber suffered a “freak accident” during the filming.

“Peter suffered a freak accident. He got a cut on his head, he did get stitches but he’s 100 percent OK and production is already back underway,” Harrison said. “He’s still the dashing, handsome pilot we’ve all dreamed of.”

Weber’s season of “The Bachelor” debuts on ABC on January 6, 2020.
