Airbnb In NYC
This week, two New York City Council members sent a letter to several high profile Airbnb investors, including actor Ashton Kutcher and tech mogul Jeff Bezos. The letters sent are warning of the illegal nature of short-term renting in the city.
Kutcher and Bezos are both investors in — and defenders of — Airbnb, among their many other investments. Airbnb has been involved with a lot of illegal activity in the past regarding NYC leaving many wondering why the two are still actively investing.
